Three colours · Three formats · Three perceptions
Maison Veuve Clicquot invites you to experience the impact of time and space with a collection of La Grande Dame vintages complementing the ‘Giganti’ art creation.
For both Wine & Design lovers.
An exclusive collection of La Grande Dame vintages comprising: one La Grande Dame 2008 in Jeroboam, three La Grande Dame 2012 in Magnum and six La Grande Dame 2015 in 75cl bottle. All crafted with exceptional grapes mainly from our historical vineyards (purchased by Madame Clicquot herself) and aged carefully in our century-old chalk cellars in Reims, France.
‘Giganti Bottiglie’, a unique artistic piece designed by renown Italian Artist Paola Paronetto. Pushing the limits of the ceramic material, the ceramist’s creation is the expression of the verticality brought by Pinot Noir to Veuve Clicquot cuvées. It conveys remarkably well the complexity of this grape variety: delicate yet strong and very complex to craft.
Drawing inspiration from Madame Clicquot’s luminous personality, passion for technical excellence and love for Pinot Noir, Paola Paronetto has created the ‘Giganti Bottiglie’. This masterpiece is a sculptural composition of three giant hand-made ceramic bottles (1m35, 1m10 and 1 meter). The Artist uses her very own ceramic technique called ‘Paper Clay’, an innovative combination of clay, cellulose fiber and water, perfected over years of meticulous research.
“The uncertainty and risks which Paola Paronetto faces during the delicate firing process, shares commonalities with my experiences from our champagne making process, from harvest to the aging in our cellars. The investment in time and quality are also shared values, both for the creation of Paola’s paper clay sculptures and the crafting of each new vintage of La Grande Dame.̎
Didier Mariotti, Veuve Clicquot's Cellar Master
The tallest sculptures is dressed in the iconic Veuve Clicquot yellow and is adorned with a leather label, which the Artist invites you to personalise with a name.
The leather used to make this label is upcycled from one of LVMH’s most prestigious Houses. Fine quality as well as mindful.
Paola Paronetto, the ‘Master of Colors’, has elaborated a palette of twenty-six colours for the two sculptures ‘complementing the yellow Giganti’. All vibrant and poetic colors inspired from Nature. A beautiful expression of Veuve Clicquot’s message of optimism.
