Veuve Clicquot unveils the 2018 vintage of La Grande Dame Rosé, a celebration of Madame Clicquot's unique vision, drive and audacity.
This cuvée embodies two of her major innovations, showcasing the oenological expertise of Veuve Clicquot: the production of the first vintage champagne in 1810 and the creation of the first known blended rosé champagne in 1818.
Thus, this cuvée is a blend of 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay, to which 13% red wine is added from the historic plot "Clos Colin" located in Bouzy.
