The abuse of alcohol is dangerous for your health. Drink responsibly. Veuve Clicquot supports the responsible consumption of wines and spirits, through Moët Hennessy, member of Spirits EUROPE, Discus and Wine in Moderation.
La Grande Dame is a cuvée created in homage to Madame Clicquot, who used her determination and intuition to acquire vineyards planted with exceptional historic crus in Champagne.
Discover this prestigious cuvée through a guided tour that will take you from the Crayères – the House’s historic, Unesco World Heritage-listed cellars – to the vineyards of Verzy. One of Veuve Clicquot’s historic cru terroirs, Verzy is the realm of the Pinot Noir grape that Madame Clicquot so loved. “Our black grapes produce the best white wines,” she used to say, convinced that Pinot Noir offered the largest expressive palette and the greatest potential for creating the finest champagne.
It will be your turn to judge during a tasting of 2 cuvées: La Grande Dame and La Grande Dame Rosé.
