Veuve Clicquot’s Solaire cultural imprint finds new expression in 2025, in association with the legendary Magnum Photos agency.
Together, they announce Emotions of the Sun, a touring photographic celebration of the Sun. For the first time, eight photographers present their responses to the same brief: a creative carte blanche to convey the emotions inspired in them by the Sun.
The exhibition will be held in Cape Town from December 4 to 21, 2025.
The eight Magnum photographers deliver one or more moments in response to this solar theme, in eight different countries – sometimes their own, sometimes a destination they love.
Captured in 40 new photographs, each one of them is an illustration of the Sun’s power, across an extraordinary spectrum of emotions, shapes and colours, from vast outdoor spaces to intimate interiors.
Inspired by the unique connection between photographers and the Sun, Maison Veuve Clicquot is proud to begin this new, cultural chapter in its story, partnering the legendary Magnum Photos agency.
At the Sun on Your Plate Café, local culinary talent Seth Shezi presents a menu inspired by the sun, perfectly paired with Veuve Clicquot’s sunny cuvées. The journey continues at the gifting boutique, where personalisation allows guests to create bespoke Veuve Clicquot collectables, from the Clicquot Arrow and Ice Jacket to limited-edition summer accessories.
