THE FOURTH-ANNUAL VEUVE CLICQUOT CARNAVAL

For the fourth year, Veuve Clicquot welcomed 4,000 Miamians, celebrities, and influencers to Museum Park overlooking the beautiful Biscayne Bay to celebrate the international festivities of Carnaval. The glamorous crowd enjoyed a day of traditional Carnaval entertainment, some of Miami’s favorite food trucks, and Veuve Clicquot champagne, in support of the event’s beneficiary, Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM).

Veuve Clicquot continues to support PAMM’s mission to improve the quality of life for individual residents and visitors of Miami-Dade County, as well as social life in the communities they represent.

Always a star-studded event, Veuve Clicquot Carnaval was attended by Issa Rae, Tessa Thompson, Eiza Gonzalez, Edgar Ramirez, Joan Smalls, Nacho Figueras, Delfina Blaquier, Tyson Beckford, Karen Martinez, Daniela Botero, Enrique Murciano, Rachel Serrano, Caroline Vreeland, Shes Marie, May Kwok and many more.

Attendees participated in the electrifying spirit of the international celebration with traditional Carnaval entertainment, featuring salsa dancers, drummers, and live music while DJ May Kwok kicked off the day on the turntables. Celebrations began with a parade of brightly dressed salsa dancers and exuberant drummers, which culminated in a captivating battle of brass and percussion instruments. Following, guests were treated to a drum extravaganza that snaked through the crowds and finished with a full center-stage performance, bringing guests to their feet in celebration.

For the first time, Veuve Clicquot introduced the Rosé Garden to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the world’s first blended rosé champagne, established by the brand in 1818. Guests delighted in this elevated consumer experience while enjoying a pre-purchased bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rosé champagne, gourmet lunch by Starr Catering, and access to exclusive lounge seating with premium views of the event’s vibrant entertainment. As a continuation of the 200th anniversary celebrations, FENDI is introducing the FENDI x Veuve Clicquot Rosé Charm, a stunning bag charm in Veuve Clicquot’s iconic pink Rosé hue, which was made locally available for the first time at the Miami FENDI Obsession Room and will be fully available for purchase in spring 2018.

Event-goers’ favorite sips of the day were the signature champagne cocktails served over ice, including the Clicquot Rich Parade, made with Veuve Clicquot Rich and slices of cucumber, and the Clicquot Rich Rosé Breeze, made with Veuve Clicquot Rich Rosé and fresh pineapple. Guests celebrated the afternoon by sipping on the refreshing cocktails as well as glasses of the classic Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label and Non-Vintage Rosé.

Situated against the backdrop of the Miami skyline, ticket holders also dined on gourmet bites from some of Miami’s best food trucks, including Box of Chacos, Dim Ssam A Gogo, Il Fiorentino, Monster Burgers, Sidecar Kitchen, Sweet Blendz, The Lobsta Guy, Wholesome Rollers and more.

Veuve Clicquot originally introduced Veuve Clicquot Carnaval to Miami in 2015 as a way to pay homage to the international celebration. Drawing inspiration from around the world, Veuve Clicquot continues to support the global initiative, bringing Miamians together for an afternoon of champagne celebrations steeped in tradition and perpetuated by Veuve Clicquot.
