Delve into 250 years of history, audacity and creativity on a visit to Les Crayères, the Unesco World Heritage-listed cellars of Maison Veuve Clicquot. You will also discover the unique savoir-faire behind its Brut Yellow Label champagne, blended from an invaluable collection of reserve wines.

In 1818, Madame Clicquot created the first known blended rosé champagne, unleashing the vivacity and explosive fruit aromas that continue to delight wine-lovers’ palates today. Discover the unique savoir-faire behind the elaboration of Veuve Clicquot’s rosé champagne and plunge into 250 years of history, audacity and creativity by exploring Les Crayères, the Unesco World Heritage-listed cellars that are an emblem of our House.
The visit will be followed by a tasting of two cuvées – Veuve Clicquot Rosé and Brut Yellow Label, accompanied by a selection of cheese and charcuterie.

To continue this exceptional sensory experience, let yourself be guided to the heart of our Crayères, the House’s historic, Unesco World Heritage-listed cellars, to discover the vintage champagnes, invented by Madame Clicquot in 1810.
You will taste 4 of our vintage champagnes, including two rare cuvées, accompanied by a selection of cheeses.

La Grande Dame is a cuvée created in homage to Madame Clicquot, who used her determination and intuition to acquire vineyards planted with exceptional historic crus in Champagne. Discover this prestigious cuvée through a guided tour that will take you from the Crayères – the House’s historic, Unesco World Heritage-listed cellars – to the vineyards of Verzy.
You will taste 2 cuvées: La Grande Dame and La Grande Dame Rosé.

While visiting our Crayères, the Unesco World Heritage-listed cellars that are emblematic of the House, you will understand how Madame Clicquot came to be known as the “Grande Dame of Champagne” at the end of her life.
The visit will be followed by a tasting of our iconic Brut Yellow Label cuvée in Magnum, and of our prestige cuvée La Grande Dame, a showcase for the House’s excellence.

Madame Clicquot was uncompromising about the quality of her wines. Her oft-repeated phrase “Only one quality, the finest” has become the House’s motto. In the Veuve Clicquot’s historic cellars, you will learn how champagne is made, discovering each stage step by step, from the Vine to the Wine. You will discover the unique savoir-faire of a champagne house founded 250 years ago, and the inimitable style of its champagnes, marked by the predominance of the Pinot Noir grape.
