CHRYSTELE GIMARET AND JULIE CHAPON, WINNERS OF THE 2019 BOLD WOMAN AWARD AND BOLD FUTURE AWARD PRESENTED BY VEUVE CLICQUOT TO RECOGNIZE BOLD ENTREPRENEURS

Veuve Clicquot presented the Bold Woman Award to Chrystèle Gimaret, Founding President of Artupox International, and the Bold Future Award to Julie Chapon, Co-Founder of Yuka. The awards recognize those who inspire successive generations of audacious female leaders.
For the first time in its history, Veuve Clicquot also presented the Bold Champion Award to Frédéric Mion, President of Sciences Po. The honorary award, created this year, recognizes men who encourage better representation and consideration for women in society through concrete actions.
Hosted by China Moses, the 2019 ceremony took place at 3 Mazarine in Paris and welcomed numerous personalities from the business, culture, investing and start-up worlds, as well as previous Veuve Clicquot award winners.
This new edition is part of the program Bold by Veuve Clicquot, a series of international initiatives to generate conversation which has been created for more impact and inclusivity. Chrystèle Gimaret and Julie Chapon join the ranks of more than 350 bold women in 27 different countries, the Role Models of today and tomorrow, who have received the Award since 1972.
A source of inspiration for all generations, these women have distinguished themselves through their entrepreneurial audacity, their ability to reinvent their industry’s codes and traditions, and their ethical and engaged approach.

We show and feature the cleaning. And I add masculinity to this sector which has often been reserved for women.
Julie Chapon, Co-Founder of Yuka, wins the Bold Future Award, which recognizes start-uppersBeyond driving each individual to take care of their own health, Yuka contributes to more enlightened consumption for everyone, making a difference and leading manufacturers to improve the composition of their products. Today we see the enormous impact that our 14 million users can have: on a daily basis, we see many brands that change the composition of their products to improve them, notably by removing the most controversial substances.
