On Monday March 21st, at the Grand Hôtel Huis ter Duin in Norrdwijk, for its 35th annual ceremony, the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award Netherlands was presented to: Vivienne van Eijkelenborg, Difrax CEO.
For the first time in the history of the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award Netherlands, the House’s President and CEO Jean-Marc Gallot was joined by Her Majesty Queen Máxima, who honored this prestigious ceremony with her presence.
Historically, during a ceremony gathering important business and media personalities, this Award was presented by a Minister, guarantor of its credibility and prestige in the Netherlands. This year, the presence of Her Majesty Queen Máxima reinforced the important message in celebrating women in business around the world.
For this 35th ceremony, the jury was made up of Madam A. Jorritsma-Lebbink, President of the First Parliamentarian Group of the Popular Liberal and Democrat Party; Mister M. van Straalen, President of the Small and Medium Businesses Federation (MKB) ; Mister J. de Boer, President of the Netherlands’ Industry and Employers’ Federation (VNO/NCW) ; Madam C.M. Wortmann-Kool, President of the Civil National Pension Funds (ABP) ; Madam D. Hollestelle, Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award 2015, along with the consultative jury member Mister W. Kool, journalist for the Stan Huygens Journaal section in the daily newspaper De Telegraaf.
About Vivienne van Eijkelenborg
A graduate in business management, Vivienne started her career as Product and Category Manager in various retail networks. In 1997, she joined Difrax, innovative baby product company. She became CEO and owner in 1999 and turned Difrax into a leading brand via the development of its products internationally.
