La Maison Veuve Clicquot will be present at Les Voiles de Saint-Barth for its 8th edition!
24 April 2017
The island of Saint-Barthélemy and La Maison Veuve Clicquot embarked upon their shared history in 1784, the date of the first shipment of champagne to the Caribbean. Veuve Cliquot has since become an official partner of Les Voiles de St Barth, the values of which are related to yachting, performance and the art of living, which are also very dear to the champagne house.
For this 8th edition, Veuve Clicquot will offer a"Saint-Barth" limited edition of the Clicquot Arrow, a presentation box containing a bottle of Brut Carte Jaune, paying homage to a destination and showing its distance from Reims. This presentation box reflects Madame Cliquot's spirit of conquest and desire for internationalisation. Even today, her champagnes set out across the world from Reims; for example 6848 kilometres is the distance that separates the "pearl of the Caribbean" from the champagne house's headquarters.
"La Maison Veuve Clicquot is particularly proud to have been celebrating Les Voiles de Saint-Barth since 2014. The boldness and courage of the skippers clearly echo the emblematic figure that is Madame Clicquot. Much more than a champagne, this is an attitude that we are delighted to embody! ", Jean-Marc Gallot, President & CEO of La Maison Veuve Clicquot.
