REBELS – A SPACE FOR RADICAL MINDS
ABOUT THE NARRATOR
Warren du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones are regarded as two of the industry’s leading artists within image making and film.
Warren and Nick began their collaboration in 1998 through their shared passion for the image-making process and possibilities of combining their photographic art form and emerging digital domains. Their distinctive approach in visual communication and experimentation has resulted in award-winning collaborations with Bjork, UNKLE and Iris van Herpen, as well as striking and highly original campaigns for, amongst many others, Mugler, Cartier and Issey Miyake.
As the founder of one of the most coveted music labels in the world, James Lavelle shaped the cultural landscape of the 1990s.
Founder of Mo' Wax Records and UNKLE, Lavelle nurtured some of the most influential artists of the decade and tapped into what was without a doubt the most celebrated and innovative era since the 1960s. Widely regarded as the greatest A&R man of the day, in the twenty years since UNKLE’s debut, Lavelle has been prolific as producer, DJ and curator.

Anna’s work has been published in multiple fashion magazines worldwide and her acclaimed window displays for Hermes, Burberry, Christian Louboutin and Selfridges continue to inspire and surprise her audience. She is renowned for her signature bold and graphic aesthetic.
Rebecca Louise Law is a British Installation Artist, best known for artworks created with natural materials, namely flora.
The physicality and sensuality of her work plays with the relationship between humanity and nature. Law is passionate about
natural change and preservation, allowing her work to evolve as nature takes its course and offering an alternative concept of beauty.

Joe Goddard, member of Hot Chip and the 2 Bears, songwriter, producer, DJ, remixer and co-founder of the Greco-Roman label. Joe
combines a thirst for experimentation, an instinctive understanding of the dancefloor and a love of left-of-centre pop music.

Jehnny Beth and Johnny Hostile met in London fourteen years ago – Johnny a record producer and composer, and Jehnny, front singer in the band Savages.
After a relocation from London to Paris some years later, the duo extended their creative vision to new, exciting mediums. Johnny developed a passion for photography, while Jehnny started writing poetry and fiction inspired by the images he created. Their installation for Widow Series showcases another facet of their artistic lifelong collaboration.
Best known for producing what is already being described as one of the most iconic images of the twenty-first century, ‘Lightness of Being’,
