She was a demanding producer, tirelessly striving to achieve the utmost quality. The very first of her kind, and a visionary for the outstanding character of her wines in terms of vinification, blending and taste. She knew she had to produce champagne of consistently high quality. So, she perfected the art of aging, as well as how her vineyards were selected.
Now the eleventh Cellar Master at Veuve Clicquot, Didier Mariotti is determined to uphold this vision.
He is tasked with preserving the House’s expertise and inimitable style, protecting its treasure trove of reserve wines and cellars, and laying the path for the future of Veuve Clicquot by designing and creating iconic cuvées with its emblematic signature grape variety: Pinot Noir.
